Pilea Peperomioides are bright green ornamental houseplants. Also known as the ‘Chinese money plant’, ‘pancake plant’, or UFO plant, this species is native to Southern China in the Yunnan province but has become a very popular houseplant in the United States in the last few years.

The Pancake plant features circular foliage that appears in the shape of large silver dollar coins. The coin shaped leaves shoot up on long slender stalks that are almost unseen amongst the bouquet of voluminous petals.
